This section is common to all the editions of IT360 - Professional Edition, Enterprise Edition (Central Server and Probes) and MSP Edition (Central Server and Probes).
IT360 generates many reports that help you to analyze the performance over a period of time. Using this option, you can schedule the time, at which the reports need to be generated.
Go to 'Admin -> Servers & Applications -> Schedule Reports' [In case of Professional Edition and Enterprise & MSP Editions (Probe)]. Go to 'Admin -> Configurations & Settings -> Schedule Reports' [In case of Enterprise & MSP Editions (Central)].
If reports have been already scheduled, the schedule details would be listed. Else, it would prompt you to create new schedule. Click New Schedule.
Configure the following details in the Schedule Reports page displayed:
Name: Configure a name for the schedule.
Description: Give a meaningful description for the schedule.
Status: Set the status of the schedule to either Enable or Disable.
Report Type: You can choose the type of the report to be scheduled from the available dropdown.
Report Period: Choose the period (e.g., Last 12 Hours, Yesterday, etc) for which you want the report to be scheduled.
Select Customer: Select the Customer, for whom the report is to be scheduled, from the available dropdown. (This option is applicable for MSP edition - Central only)
- Select Site: Select the Site, for which the report is to be scheduled, from the available dropdown. (This option is applicable for MSP edition - Central only)
Choose whether you want to Generate Report for Business service, Monitor Type, or individual Monitors. Accordingly, the resources will be listed down. Select the resource for which the report is expected.
Set the time for the reports to be delivered. For e.g.,
If you want the Health report of database servers to be delivered everyday at 10.00 a.m, choose 'Daily' option and set the time as 10.00.
If you want the report to be delivered every monday at 10.00 a.m, choose 'Weekly' option, set time as 10.00 and choose 'Monday' option.
- If you want the report to be delivered every month on 15th day at 10.00 a.m, choose 'Monthly' option, set time as 10.00, choose 15 from the day list and select all for the report to be delivered every month. (you can select individual months also)
Select whether you want to receive the report as Send as Attachment, Publish Report as Link, or PDF.
- If email actions are already configured, select the email to which the reports need to be sent. Else, you can configure new email action, by clicking the New Action link.
Note: Reportadmin user is used to generate EmailPDF and Schedule Reports Feature. The password is generated dynamically for each and every user, hence no one can access the webclient using this username and password as this is secured.
