Accessing Administration Options

Users with Admin privilege are assigned different responsibilities. The administrative tasks are grouped module-wise, so that the Admin users can access easily and effect the required configurations.

1. General Admin Settings of IT360

Navigate to 'Admin -> General' (in case of Professional and Probes) and 'Admin -> Central Settings' (in case of Central). Then, perform the following operations as required:

• Mail Server settings
  

• Proxy Server settings
  

• SMS (Text Message) settings

• Storage Configuration
  

• Users and Role Management

• Active Directory

• Product License

2. Networks Module - Admin Settings

Navigate to 'Admin -> Networks' (Applicable to Professional and Probes only). Then, perform the following network monitoring configurations as required:

• Network Database Maintenance


• Schedule Device Downtime


• Quick Configuration Wizard


• MIB Browser


• Switch Port Mapper

3. Servers and Applications Module - Admin Settings

Navigate to 'Admin -> Servers & Applications' (Applicable to Professional and Probes only). Then, perform the following application monitoring configurations as required:

• Applications Database Maintenance


• Scheduling Monitor Downtime


• Uploading MIBs/Scripts


• SNMP Trap Listener

4. Storage Module - Admin Settings

   Navigate to 'Admin -> Storage' (Applicable to Professional and Probes only). Then, perform the following storage configurations as required:

• Storage Module Administration
  

5. Traffic Module - Admin Settings

Navigate to 'Admin -> Traffic' (Applicable to Professional and Probes only). Then, perform the following admin operations related to Traffic as required:

• Product Settings

• Application Mapping

• Device Group

• Billing

• IP Group Management
  

6. Servicedesk Module - Admin Settings

Click Servicedesk tab (Applicable to Professional and Central only). Then perform the help desk operations like adding technicians, mail server settings etc.
