This section is common to all the editions of IT360 - Professional Edition, Enterprise Edition (Probes only) and MSP Edition (Probes only).
You can configure IT360 to automatically run a program, whenever a fault is detected in a device. For instance, you can configure IT360 to execute a program that corrects the fault or simply produces a sound, whenever a specific type of an alarm is raised for a device.
To create a profile that executes the specified program, follow the
steps given below:
Navigate to 'Admin --> Networks --> Notification Profiles'.
Profile Name: Assign a meaningful name to this notification profile.
Command Name: Specify the name of the program to be executed, with the absolute path. Example 'C:\profiles\testprogram.bat'.
Program Arguments: If the program requires some arguments, specify the arguments as variables. Select the Argument variables from the available dropdown.
Test Actions: Click this button to test the working of the configured notification profile.
The program is executed with the specified arguments, whenever a fault matching the selected criteria is encountered.
