Availability Settings

Introduction

This section is common to all the editions of IT360 - Professional Edition, Enterprise Edition [Probes only] and MSP Edition [Probes only].

Here you can learn how to configure Availability settings in IT360.

Steps to Access the Availability settings UI

  1. Login to IT360 console with the Username and Password of an Admin user.

  2. Click the Admin tab in the header pane.

  3. Click Availability Settings under Monitoring Configuration. Now configure any of the below settings as required:

1. Show monitor status as up when under Downtime Schedule:

If you want to show the availability of monitors under maintenance as "Up", irrespective of their previous state, select this option.

2. Clear Health Alert during Maintenance Period:

IT360 will clear the last health status of the monitor, when the monitor is under scheduled downtime or unmanaged state.Check for

3. Network Availability:

IT360 will generate alarms for the unavailability of resources only if the specified host is reachable in the network.

4. Check URL availability:

IT360 will generate alarms for the unavailability of URL, only if the other specified URL - reference URL is not down.

5. Availability Check:

Using this option, you can set timeout for checking availability globally.
