EventLog Analyzer Helps IT Security Pros Manage Risks, Mitigate Threats in Real Time
SAN FRANCISCO and PLEASANTON, Calif. - February 24, 2014 - ManageEngine, the real-time IT management company, today announced the addition of real-time event correlation and ISO 27001:2013 compliance reporting to EventLog Analyzer, its security information and event management (SIEM) software. Available immediately in the beta version of EventLog Analyzer 9, the two new features let security professionals secure their networks from anomalies in real time by correlating thousands of events simultaneously and also meet the stringent ISO 27001:2013 compliance requirements.
ManageEngine will demonstrate the new EventLog Analyzer features and exhibit the rest of its IT security portfolio in booth 2039 at RSA Conference 2014, being held February 24-28, 2014, in San Francisco.
"The new features we're adding to our SIEM software provide powerful, proactive threat management capabilities," said Joel Fernandes, senior product marketing manager, SIEM solutions, ManageEngine. "With real-time event correlation, customers can detect and identify anomalies without any hassles of manual intervention. This release also provides out-of-the-box compliance reports to meet the recently published ISO 27001:2013 requirements. Organizations complying with the old ISO 27001:2005 requirements will have to strictly follow the latest requirements set by the ISO 27001:2013 regulatory act."
Data breaches are on the rise, and hackers use highly targeted attacks to intrude upon enterprise networks and steal sensitive data. To thwart security threats, enterprises rely on SIEM solutions that automate real-time event correlation and thereby accelerate the monitoring and analysis of network events. With event correlation in place, IT security professionals don't have to spend hours manually tracking suspicious network behavior. Event correlation automatically detects and provides alerts on network anomalies and vulnerabilities.
IT compliance also plays a major role in preventing data breaches by determining the integrity of your data and systems. ISO 27001:2013 information security management systems (ISMS) compliance has gained worldwide acceptance by organizations both large and small, and it mandates that enterprises enforce information security, thereby reducing the possible risk of data thefts.
The latest version of EventLog Analyzer 9 (beta) introduces advanced SIEM functionality that facilitates effective IT security threat management with features such as:
The new capabilities strengthen EventLog Analyzer, adding to long-standing, prominent features such as its intuitive, web-based user interface; universal log collection architecture; file integrity monitoring; advanced log search engine and over 150 out-of-the-box security reports.
RSA Conference 2014 attendees interested in learning more about EventLog Analyzer are invited to meet company executives at the show. Attendees can schedule appointments by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, or they can stop by the ManageEngine booth 2039.
