ManageEngine Releases MSP Center Plus; Allows Managed Service Providers to Easily, Affordably, Standardize Remote Computing Environments

Integrated Desktop, Network Management Platform Also Relieves MSPs from Task of Tying Together Multiple Vendor Management Tools

Austin, TX, September 2, 2008 –AdventNet Inc., makers of ManageEngine, a globally renowned suite of cost effective network management & security software solutions, today announced the release of MSP Center Plus, an integrated management suite allowing Managed Service Providers to more easily and affordably create and maintain secure, standardized, desktop computing environments. MSP Center Plus brings sophisticated automation and integration to desktop management without the typically high price point; at $25 per device per year, the software is nearly 80 percent less expensive than competing solutions.

ManageEngine built the MSP Center Plus platform based on experience gained through working with more than 350 MSPs who were using earlier versions of the company's software to manage 200,000 end devices inside 2,500 small businesses. MSP Center Plus offers MSPs and Value Added Resellers (VARs) a full complement of management disciplines, including asset management, power management, patch management, windows configuration templates, network monitoring, SLA management, exchange monitoring, helpdesk, timesheets, tech scheduling and invoicing. All functionality is available through a single graphical user interface and applications share a common database for true management integration.

MSP Center Plus eliminates the extensive scripting that competing solutions require to perform many routine management tasks. By simply selecting from MSP Center Plus' more than 50 templates and 250 pre-loaded policies, MSPs can easily apply and maintain desktop policies across an entire computer group. Everything from power management to firewall and registry settings and more can be standardized across thousands of endpoints with a simple mouse click. Templates even make security management easier. Security settings, such as disabling USB and CR-ROM drive access and disabling the control panel can be achieved using security policy templates in MSP Center Plus.

Further easing the management task, many routine jobs including patch scanning and deployment, asset scanning, prohibited software detection, disc cleanup, defragmentation and more can be automated and scheduled.
