AdventNet Teams up with APC to Offer Data Center UPS Monitoring Using ManageEngine OpManager

Pleasanton, Calif., April 12, 2006

AdventNet today announced tight integration of ManageEngine OpManager products from APC (American Power Conversion), a leading global supplier of high availability systems for network-critical physical infrastructure (NCPI). Joint customers of AdventNet and APC can now use AdventNet’s ManageEngine OpManager to monitor uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) included in APC’s InfraStruXure® systems in the same way they manage their networking infrastructure.

Discussing the integration, Rob Johnson, Vice President and General Manager of APC’s Availability Enhancements Group said, "Though IT personnel understand the mission critical nature of the UPS, few realize the importance of monitoring them continuously.
