MDM - Google Account Missing

Problem

End user is trying to enroll a mobile device and he gets the error message "Google Account Missing"

Cause

End user might get this error message, when the end user has not provided his google account in the mobile device. The android device that is being enrolled need to have the users' google account information in it. If the user has not provided the google account information then the enrollment will fail.

Resolution

In such cases, users will be notified to login into the google account to continue enrollment process. In case the end user is unaware of the process, you can instrcut the end user to navigate to the following location and provide his account information. Settings >Account & Sync >Add Account and then retry the enrollment process.
