Network Configuration Management Software
Enterprises generally rely on external identity stores such as Windows Active Directory or LDAP directory for maintaining user information and authentication. While choosing any IT Management solution, it is worthwhile to check if the solution has the capability to integrate with Active Directory or LDAP since such an integration would prove to be highly time saving. In addition, users can use their AD/LDAP credentials to login to the IT Management application also.
DeviceExpert can be easily integrated with Windows Active Directory and LDAP. It also leverages the authentication mechanism of AD/LDAP. Administrators can import users from AD/LDAP into DeviceExpert. Whenever new users get added to AD/LDAP, they can be automatically imported into DeviceExpert. In other words, the user database of DeviceExpert and AD/LDAP can be kept in sync.
DeviceExpert can integrate with the RADIUS server in your environment. You can also leverage the RADIUS authentication for user access bypassing the local authentication provided by DeviceExpert.
