Mediatrace reports with NetFlow Analyzer

Mediatrace settings:

The following settings are available in Mediatrace settings:

1. Add Flow
2. Add Path
3. Add Profile
4. Add Params
5. Start Session

In the 'Add Flow' section, The 'Add Initiator' link allows you to choose the router in which you would like to monitor. The initiator IP needs to be added. Since, Mediatrace uses WSMA technology to fetch the data from the router, it would require entering the username and the password.

Top Dashboard

The 'Top Dash' provides a comprehensive view of both the system and performance metrics. The following metrics relating to the top hops are displayed:

1. Top Packet Discarded IN
2. Top Packet Discarded OUT
3. Top CPU Utilized
4. Top Memory Utilized
5. Top IP Packet Dropped
6. Top RTT
7. Top RTP Packet Lost
8. Top Jitter

Alerts

When the set threshold is violated, alerts are shown based on the hop involved with the violation. It displays the number of violations within the chosen time period. You can still drilldown to see granular details about the violations.
