Problem Tickets

 

When you find a problem with any of the devices, you can record it by filing a problem report on the corresponding device. For this, 

  1. Click on the 'File a Problem' link available on the left hand panel of the page. 
  2. This pops up a window.
  3. In this, select the device name, state the Problem and its Description.
  4. Click on 'Submit' button  
This info is stored in OpStor database for future reference. In addition OpStor generates reports on storage devices problem history.

 

Summary

 

Clicking on 'Summary' link in the left hand panel leads you to the reports page that shows pending problems as on date. Information on the problem with respect to device name, filed date, and owner is displayed.

 

You can check for 'Closed' or 'All' tickets also, by selected the option in the combo-box above the table. You can sort the table on any of the column by clicking on the column header.

 

To see more details on a problem, click the 'Problem' link. You can annotate on the problem ticket and/or close the ticket. To see the details of the device that caused the problem, click the 'Device' link.

 

Finally report can be viewed and printed by clicking on "Printer Friendly" link.
