The Events and Alarm notifications in OpStor allow for easy strategizing & assigning of Storage faults. Each alarm is acknowledged by an administrator who can then see to the problem, add notes for future reference and then change severity of the alarm once corrective action is taken. Unattended alarms for each device type can be escalated to email addresses. Daily and weekly critical alarm reports are scheduled and emailed for offline record and analysis. Problem tickets for each device can also be provided through the OpStor Web Interface so as to have appropriate action be taken to resolve faults.
