How to install Oputils in 64-bit Linux OS?

OpUtils currently do not support 64-bit environment. You can however install Oputils and run as a 32-bit application in 64-bit architecture. While it can be directly installed on Windows (both 32-bit and 64-bit architecture), you would need to install few additional packages in Linux to install OpUtils on a 64-bit Linux. Based on the Linux OS, follow the steps to install the packages.

Ubuntu Linix

You should install the ia32-libs package. To install this package, execute the following command: 

apt-get install ia32-libs

Cent OS

For Cent OS, you should install the following additional packages:

  • glibc.i686:Command to execute -  yum install glibc.i686
  • ncurses-libs.i686: Command to execute -  yum install ncurses-libs.i686 
  • libstdc++.i686: Command to execute -  yum install libstdc++.i686
