Features

  • Search Enhancements
    • Option to search all the modules.
    • Enhanced Global Search that searches in every module at one go
    • Options to set search preferences to search one or more selected modules.
    • Individual search option in every module to quickly search that module
    • Advanced search options such as Wildcard search, phrase search, boolean search, field specific search etc.
  • Tags
    • Option to add new tags to requests
    • Option to set an already added tag to a request
    • Option to search on the associated tags.
  • Auto-assignment of contacts to accounts based on email domain
    • Option to automatically associate a new contact to an already present account based on the email domain of the contact when the contact sends a mail for the first time.
    • Option to add new accounts based on the email domain of the contact
    • Option to enable/disable this feature.
    • Option to exclude common domains from the list.
  • Global Addl Fields
    • Option to add additional fields to Account, Contact & Support Rep that are global across all the business units.
  • Icon for auto-notification
    • A different icon for request auto-notifications

Issues Fixed

  • Request Module Issues
    • "Last Updated" field of a request gets updated for some limited actions only.
      • Action - Now the "Last Updated" field gets updated for every action (both user triggered or system triggered) done on the request
    • Alerts related to the "auto-close" feature appears even if the feature is not enabled. - Fixed
    • Extra lines displayed in the Reply editor before the text content begins - Fixed
    • Wrong tooltip for Overdue flag displayed in the Request List View Page. - Fixed
    • Notes text not displayed properly if it contains angular brackets. - Fixed
    • In IE, the product names in the "Add New Request" form are not displayed properly when the names are long. - Fixed
    • When the "Refresh" option is triggered when typing notes in the Request List View Page is notes content is lost - Fixed
    • In telephony, when a number is mapped to multiple extensions, the call alert pop-up does not display in each of these extensions. - Fixed
    • The invitation mail for Remote Assistance does not send the mail in the language of user preference - Fixed
  • Contract Module Issues
    • Wrong validation message in the Contracts list view page - Fixed
  • Reports Module Issues
    • In Reports, a tool tip box that appears when the mouse hovers over the link, does not close even when the mouse is moved out of the link - Fixed
    • "Graph View" link missing when navigating between pages in a report result. - Fixed
    • Even after deleting the additional fields, the fields are shown in reports - Fixed
    • When grouped by date, the report headers do not take the date format configured in the Report Settings. - Fixed
    • Report Title concatenated to the file that is generated through scheduled reports
    • In Reports, if special characters are entered in the "Replace empty value as", the values are not properly replaced - Fixed
  • Admin Module Issues
    • All the configured Scheduled Requests does not appear on the Scheduled Requests configuration page. - Fixed
    • Unable to edit certain notification templates - Fixed
    • Unable to edit the "Groups" option. - Fixed
    • More informative notifications when mail fetching stops that will help administrators understand the cause.
    • In some non-english language interface, Support Reps unable to delete a Request Template - Fixed
    • Unable to re-arrange & save the order of Business Rules using the option "Organize Business Rules" in the Japanese language - Fixed
  • Customer Portal Issues
    • On the customer portal, Search Text box for searching Solutions appears even when the Solutions module is disabled for contacts
      • Action - If the Solutions module is disabled for contacts, the Search Text box does not appear.
  • Security Issue when modifying the URL at "Edit My Profile" option in the customer portal - Fixed
  • BCC field displayed on the contact portal - Fixed.
  • In the "Submit a Ticket" option on the customer portal, the text changed from "To prevent automated registrations" to "To prevent automated submissions"
  • General Issues
    • In a particular scenario, user not able to save a custom view with a date field as criteria. - Fixed
    • In the product installation exe, the publisher name was not available - Fixed
    • Issues with garbling of characters in multi-byte encoded languages fixed - Fixed
    • Many internationalization & localization related issues fixed
