Configuration Management
About configuration
Access points can be configured for various parameters including network
settings, radio settings, security settings, user settings, and service
settings. Moreover, the firmware residing on these access points need
to be upgraded periodically.

Express configuration of access points
To configure access point(s) for some of the basic settings, follow the
procedure given below:
Procedure:
- Select Configuration tab
- By default the Express Setup page showsup. Fill the configuration
values in the template. Refer to the table below for details on the configuration
parameters.
- Select the access point(s) to which you want to apply these
configurations. Use the device selector for selecting the access point(s).
- Click Apply or Apply and Reboot to apply the configuration values.

Configuring 802.11b/g radio of access points
To configure the 802.11b/g radio of select access point(s), follow the
procedure given below:
Procedure:
- Select Configuration tab
- Choose "Radio Settings - 802.11bg" from the left hand
side links. Fill the configuration values in the template. Refer to the
table below for details on the configuration parameters.
- Select the access point(s) to which you want to apply these
configurations. Use the device selector for selecting the access point(s).
- Click "Apply" or "Apply and Reboot" to apply
the configuration values.

Configuring 802.11a radio of access points
To configure the 802.11a radio of select access point(s), follow the
procedure given below:
Procedure:
- Select Configuration tab
- Choose "Radio Settings - 802.11a" from the left hand
side links. Fill the configuration values in the template. Refer to the
table below for details on the configuration parameters.
- Select the access point(s) to which you want to apply these
configurations. Use the device selector for selecting the access point(s).
- Click "Apply" or "Apply and Reboot" to apply
the configuration values.

Configuring ACL of access points
To configure the Access Control List (ACL) settings of access points,
follow the procedure given below:
Procedure:
- Select Configuration tab
- Choose "Access Control List" from the left hand side
links. Fill the configuration values in the template. Refer to the table
below for details on the configuration parameters.
- Select the access point(s) to which you want to apply these
configurations. Use the device selector for selecting the access point(s).
- Click "Apply" or "Apply and Reboot" to apply
the configuration values.

Creating a new SSID and assigning it to select
access points
To create a new SSID and configure it to select access points, follow
the procedure given below:
Procedure:
- Select Configuration tab
- Choose "Security Settings" from the left hand side
links. Fill the configuration values in the template. Refer to the table
below for details on the configuration parameters.
- Select the access point(s) to which you want to apply these
configurations. Use the device selector for selecting the access point(s).
- Click "Apply" to apply the configuration values.

Configuring services in access points
To configure services it select access points, follow the procedure given
below:
Procedure:
- Select Configuration tab
- Choose "Services Settings" from the left hand side
links. Fill the configuration values in the template. Refer to the table
below for details on the configuration parameters.
- Select the access point(s) to which you want to apply these
configurations. Use the device selector for selecting the access point(s).
- Click "Apply" to apply the configuration values.

Firmware upgradation can be done through WiFi Manager for individual devices or a group of devices, using the following steps:
- Select Configuration tab
- Click on Firmware Jobs
- Click on Add New Job
- Fill in the job name, description, image file, access
point which you want to upgrade
- Choose the Run Firmware Upgrade Now option
- Click OK to finish
To apply on a group of Access Points,you can select
the APs using the device selector and then apply the
upgrade.

Viewing Configuration/Firmware History
To view the history of configurations and firmware upgrades done through
WiFi Manager, follow the procedure given below:
Procedure:
- Select Configuration tab
- Choose "Configuration History" from the left hand
side links under the Audit Details heading for configuration history.
- Choose "Firmware History" from the left hand side
links under the Audit Details heading for firmware history.
