WiFi Manager raises this alarm when it detects that WEPWedgie tool is in use.

What is WEPWedgie ?

WEPWedgie is a toolkit that will help determining the WEP keystreams and will help injecting packets into the WLAN with those known keystreams.  It consists of two modules, one to collect the WEP challenge/response and another to craft the packets based on the gained intelligence.  It uses another tool - AirJack for the actual packet injection into the WLAN.

What kind of attacks are possible using this tool ?

Hacker can carry out different type of DoS attacks using this tool.

What should the WLAN Administrator do ?

The best option for the Administrators will be not to use WEP and go for some other better mechanism like WPA for securing the WLAN.
