# Importing data from Cassandra If your data is stored in a Cassandra database, you can import it into Analytics Plus for advanced reporting and analysis. You can also configure periodic schedules to automatically fetch the latest data from the local database. 1. [How do I import data from the Cassandra database into Analytics Plus?](#import-data) 2. How do I import data from the Cassandra database into Analytics Plus? https://show.zohopublic.in/publish/txo993fc0a33dfaf64bfeae80b453d8aeaf04 ### 2. How do I edit the data import configuration? https://show.zohopublic.in/publish/zwekid4c5d3a0ed004b32aab4bd709a556660 ### 3. How long does it take for the Cassandra data to be imported into Analytics Plus? After configuring data import from your local database, the initial fetch may take some time depending on the volume of data. Reports and dashboards may take up to five minutes to display all metrics. If you access the workspace before the initial fetch is complete, data will not be displayed. ### 4. Will foreign keys defined between tables in Cassandra be linked in Analytics Plus? Yes. When importing multiple tables together, the foreign keys defined in the Cassandra database will be linked in Analytics Plus using lookup columns. If tables are imported individually, the foreign keys will not be created automatically. In such cases, you can manually link the tables using the lookup column functionality. To learn more about lookup columns, [click here](https://www.manageengine.com/analytics-plus/help/table/joining-tables.html#defining-lookup). ### 5. Can I change the data type of imported columns? Yes. To learn more about changing column data types in Analytics Plus, [click here](https://www.manageengine.com/analytics-plus/help/table/working-with-tables.html#datatype_1). **Note:** Ensure that the modified column data type in Analytics Plus is compatible with the corresponding column data type in the local database for successful synchronization. ### 6. Can I import Cassandra data into an existing workspace? Yes. Follow the steps below: 1. Open the required workspace. Click **Create** from the side panel and select **New Table / Import Data**. 2. Click the **Local Databases** tile and follow the steps provided in the presentation. ### 7. Can I synchronize Cassandra data instantly? Yes. Follow the steps below: 1. Open the required workspace and click the **Data Sources** tab from the side panel. ![Sync Cassandra Data](https://cdn.manageengine.com/sites/meweb/images/analytics-plus/sync-cassa.png) 2. Click the **Sync Now** option. ### 8. How do I resolve synchronization failures? To resolve synchronization failures, first identify the reason for the failure by following these steps: 1. Click the **Data Sources** option from the side panel and navigate to the required data source. 2. Hover over the required table and click the **View Last Import Details** icon. The Import Details page provides detailed information about the synchronization failure. ![View Last Import Details](https://cdn.manageengine.com/sites/meweb/images/analytics-plus/viewlastimport-caasa.png) You can also access the Import Details page by opening the required table and selecting **Import Data → Last Import Details**. ### 9. How do I remove the setup? To remove the setup: 1. Click the **Data Sources** option from the side panel and navigate to the required data source. 2. Hover over the data source name, click the **Settings** icon, and select **Remove Data Source**.
