Setting up the ManageEngine Analytics Plus application
This guide will show you how to set up the ManageEngine Analytics Plus application from your ServiceNow Store. The advanced analytics platform offers out of the box analytics on over 80+ help desk KPIs.
Note: Only ServiceNow system administrators can download and setup ManageEngine Analytics Plus.
Before installing ManageEngine Analytics Plus, the following prerequisite needs to be met:
The Restore Deleted Records plugin needs to be activated. Open the ServiceNow instance and using the Filter Navigator, select Plugins under System Definition. Select the Restore Deleted Records plugin, verify the plugin details and click on Activate/Upgrade to activate the plugin.
You can easily download the ManageEngine Analytics Plus application from the ServiceNow Store. Once the application is downloaded, open your ServiceNow instance. Using the Filter Navigator, navigate to Applications under System Applications. In the screen that appears, click on the Downloads tab, search for ManageEngine Analytics Plus, and click Install.
Connecting to Analytics Plus automatically imports your ServiceNow data into Analytics Plus for advanced analytics. This can be done in a few simple steps.
Step 1: Open your ServiceNow instance, and navigate to the ManageEngine Analytics Plus application using the Filter Navigator.
Step 2: Click the Import button to bring your ServiceNow data into ManageEngine Analytics Plus.
Step 3: Once the import process is completed, click the Access Analytics Plus button.
Step 4: Your Analytics Plus workspace opens, with out-of-the-box reports and dashboards on ServiceNow.
Note: Post set up completion, it may take anywhere between 5-10 minutes for the complete analysis of ServiceNow to finish, during which some reports may not display data.
