Organizations use Microsoft SharePoint to store, organize, share, and access information from any device. SharePoint Online sites generally hold large volumes of data. With such large volumes of data at stake, it is important for administrators to stay up-to-date with site statistics and permission changes across their SharePoint Online environment.
The native SharePoint Admin Center does not provide all the reports necessary for an administrator. Important reports such as finding inactive sites requires administrators to use the SharePoint Admin Center and PowerShell scripts to retrieve a list of sites that have not been modified in a certain time period. On the other hand, ManageEngine M365 Manager Plus provides the same report in just a few clicks. SharePoint Online reports provided by M365 Manager Plus are grouped under the following categories:
General SharePoint Online reports
These reports provide information on recently created sites, inactive sites, sites with no subsites or document library, and more.
The following reports are available in M365 Manager Plus:
- All sites: This report provides details on all the sites available in your SharePoint Online sites, including their URL, the date and time at which they were created and last modified, and more.
- Recently created sites: This report provides information on all sites that were recently created between any specific period and includes other information such as their URL, the date and time at which they were created and last modified, and more.
- Recently modified sites: This report provides information on all the sites that were recently modified in any specific period and other information such as their URL, the date and time at which they were created and last modified, and more.
- Site statistics: This report provides information such as the site URL, the number of lists, sites, and drives in each site.
- Site with no lists: This report lists all sites in your SharePoint Online environment that do not have lists.
- Site with no subsites: This report lists all sites in your SharePoint Online environment that don't have subsites.
- Sites with no document library: This report lists all sites in your SharePoint Online environment with no document library.
- Inactive sites: This report lists all sites that have been inactive for any number of days. It provides additional information such as the site URL, the date and time at which they were created and last modified, the number of days since the last modification, and more.
SharePoint Online users and groups reports
These reports provide information on site-wise users and site-wise group memberships.
The following reports are available in M365 Manager Plus:
- Site-wise members: This report provides information on all the members in selected sites and groups. It also provides additional information such as the type of members (users or security groups), user principal name, the email address, share permission to the member, and more.
- Site-wise groups: This report provides information on the list of all groups in your SharePoint Online environment. It also provides information such as the group owner, whether the group allows self-service for membership, and more.

These reports provide information on site-wise roles held by SharePoint Online users.
- Site-wise roles: This report provides information on the list of all permissions in each SharePointOnline site.
