# How to create a schedule for a device group?

Follow the steps given below to create a schedule for device groups:

- Go to **Inventory > Groups**.
- Click on the clock icon ![clock icon](https://www.manageengine.com/network-configuration-manager/images/dgh5.png) on the right hand side of the table listing all the device groups. (Applicable for Grid View. Clock icon in widget view, is present on top of the widgets)
- Provide a name for the schedule.
- Choose a type of schedule you want to create.
- Provide necessary parameters for the chosen type of schedule (Parameters may differ for different types of schedules).
- Provide the email id's (Multiple email Ids can be provided in a comma separated list) to which the report of this schedule must be delivered.
- Choose a period on which the schedule must run. You can choose between Hourly, Daily, Weekly or Monthly schedule.
- Click on **Save**.
