# Steps to enable SSL

Follow the steps below to enable SSL:

- To enable SSL Certificate, navigate to **Settings > General Settings > Security Settings > Configure SSL**.
- Enable **Secure Mode**.
- Choose the certificate type: Generate CSR, Self-signed Certificate, or Import Certificate.
- Generate the certificate.
- A pop-up message for confirmation will be displayed. Click OK to proceed.
- Once SSL is successfully enabled, restart the service for changes to take effect.
- The SSL Certificate Details panel will be displayed.
- Here, you can verify the Certificate Name, Creation Date, Expiry Date, Issuer Name, Issuer Organization Name, Key Algorithm, Key Length, and Signature Algorithm.
