# MDM - Command Format Error
## Problem
You are trying to associate a profile to Groups/Devices, and you get an error message "Command Format Error".
## Cause
You might get this error message if the profile created by the administrator is not compatible or not applicable as per the iOS policies.
## Resolution
Kindly contact our support team with the Endpoint Central Server logs, for further assistance.
