# Trial License Expired EXE ## Endpoint Central server is not starting ### What is the issue? Your Endpoint Central server is not starting. ### What is the cause? If you are installing the Endpoint Central server and its build number is below **10.0.678**, then your server will not start due to the trial license expiration of EXE files. ### How to resolve the issue? Follow these steps to resolve the issue: 1. Download the **petinfo.dat** file here: [Download petinfo.dat](https://www.manageengine.com/products/desktop-central/petinfo.dat) 2. Go to the location where you have installed the Endpoint Central EXE file and open the lib folder. For example: *C:\ManageEngine\DesktopCentral_Server\lib* 3. Replace the **petinfo.dat** file with the newly downloaded one. 4. Start the Endpoint Central server.
