Unable to replicate image due to SSL certificate error - 12175

Problem

You can see the error message "Unable to replicate image due to SSL certificate error - 12175" on the screen during image replication.

Cause

This error will be shown,

  1. If the certificate file available in the Central server is invalid or corrupt.

Resolution

You can resolve this issue by following the steps given below,

If you are using a self-signed certificate,

Delete the following files from the location where the Central server is installed. Before deleting, ensure that you take a backup of the files.

  • ManageEngine\DesktopCentral_Server\apache\conf\ server.crt
  • ManageEngine\DesktopCentral_Server\apache\conf\ server.key
  • ManageEngine\DesktopCentral_Server\nginx\conf\ server.crt
  • ManageEngine\DesktopCentral_Server\nginx\conf\ server.key

After deleting, restart the Central server.

If you are using a third-party certificate,

Re-import the original certificate files into Central server. Refer to this document for steps to reimport.

Note
If the original certificate is not available, contact support with the following files,
  • ManageEngine\DesktopCentral_Server\apache\conf\ server.crt
  • ManageEngine\DesktopCentral_Server\nginx\conf\ server.crt
