You can uninstall Browser Security Plus agents from computers in the same LAN as the Browser Security Plus server directly. It is recommended that you uninstall the agents from respective computers before removing them from the Scope of Management list.


To uninstall a Browser Security Plus agent, follow the steps given below:

If Active Directory has been configured, an agent can be uninstalled using the following steps:

  1. Click the Agent tab
  2. Click Scope of Management
  3. Select specific computers
  4. Click Uninstall Agent

Note: Once uninstalled, Browser Security Plus's tray icon on the client machine will be removed within 90 minutes of agent uninstallation.

If Active Directory has not been configured, an agent be uninstalled using the following steps:

  1. Click Agent tab
  2. From Agent settings, uncheck "Uninstalling the Agent from Control Panel" under Restrict users from performing.
  3. Open Control Panel
  4. Click Uninstall a program
  5. Select ManageEngine Browser Security Plus - Agent and run the wizard.

You have now uninstalled the Browser Security Plus agent from a managed computer.
