Steps to configure SAML SSO for Way We Do
About Way We Do
Way We Do is a cloud-based platform designed for managing standard operating procedures and business processes. It transforms static policies and guidelines into interactive, step-by-step workflows to ensure consistency, accountability, and efficiency across teams.
The following steps will help you enable SSO for Way We Do from Identity360.
Prerequisites
- The MFA and SSO license for Identity360 is required to enable SSO for enterprise applications.
- Log in to Identity360 as an Admin, Super Admin, or Technician with a role that has Application Integration and Single Sign-on permissions.
- Navigate to Applications > Application Integration > Create New Application, and select Way We Do from the applications displayed.
Note: You can also find Way We Do from the search bar located at the top.
- Under the General Settings tab, enter the Application Name and Description.
- Under the Choose Capabilities tab, select Single Sign-on and click Continue.

- Under Integration Settings, navigate to the Single Sign On tab, click IdP Details. Copy the Entity ID, Login URL, and download the Signing Certificate, which will be used during the configuration of Way We Do.

Way We Do (service provider) configuration steps
- Log in to Way We Do as an administrator.
- From the top-right menu, click Account.

- Click Single Sign On.

- Toggle the Turn on single sign-on button to Yes.
- In the Single sign-on name field, enter Identity 360.
- In the Entity ID field, paste the Entity ID value copied from step 6 of the prerequisites.
- In the SAML SSO URL field, paste the Login URL value copied from step 6 of the prerequisites.
- In the Certificate field, upload the Signing Certificate downloaded from step 6 of the prerequisites.
- You can Enable auto-provisioning to allow new users to perform SSO through automatic account creation during their first login. If auto-provisioning is not enabled, new users without existing accounts will not be able to access the portal through SSO.
- Click Save.

Identity360 (identity provider) configuration steps
- Switch to Identity360's application configuration page.
- Enter your Way We Do Sub Domain value. For example, if your Way We Do account URL https://valocorp.waywedo.com, then your subdomain is valocorp.
- Enter the Relay State parameter, if necessary.
Note: Relay State is an optional parameter used with a SAML message to remember where you were or to direct you to a specific page after logging in.
- Click Save.

Your users will now be able to sign in to Way We Do through the Identity360 portal.
Note: For WorkOS, both SP-initiated and IdP-initiated flows are supported.
Steps to enable MFA for Way We Do
Setting up MFA for Way We Do using Identity360 involves the following steps:
- Set up one or more authenticators for identity verification when users attempt to log in to Way We Do. Identity360 supports various authenticators, including Google Authenticator, Zoho OneAuth, and email-based verification codes. Click here for steps to set up the different authenticators.

- Now, activate MFA for Way We Do by following the steps mentioned here.
