Device user is trying to enroll a mobile device and he gets the error message "FCM authentication failed"
One of the possible reasons might be that the end user would have changed the google account password after adding the account in the device. So the authentication would have failed during enrollment.
End user has to verify, if the given user name and password for the google account is correct. In case the end user is unaware of the process, you can instruct the end user to navigate to the following location and provide his account information. Settings > Account & Sync > Add Account and then retry the enrollment process. You can also recommend logging into the google account and validate his credentials before using it again on the device.
