# How to associate devices to a credential profile?

To associate devices to a credential profile, please follow the steps given below:

- Go to **Main Menu > Inventory > Devices**.
- Select the devices which needs to be associated to a profile.
- Click on the 3 horizontal dots ![3 horizontal dots](https://www.manageengine.com/network-configuration-manager/images/more-option.png) on top right corner.
- Click on **Apply Credentials**.
- Select the protocol you want to use.
- Select **"Credential Profile"** from **"Use Credential Profile"** dropdown.
- Click on **Save**.
