# How to import a new template obtained from ManageEngine Support or an OpManager setup in different location?

If you have an template in the form of .xml that is obtained either from ManageEngine support, or exported from an OpManager setup in a different location, or downloaded from the [device templates page](https://www.manageengine.com/network-monitoring/device-discovery/), you can easily import it into your current OpManager installation by following the below steps:

- Go to **Settings -> Configuration -> Device Templates -> Import .**
- Click on Import button
- Browse for the location of the exported template file (.xml file) and click on import
- Now the new template would be imported into your current OpManager installation. You can locate it under under Custom Templates page.

**Note**: Please ensure that the exported template file is not manually modified.
