# Windows 11 25H2 Feature Pack Deployment **Last Updated On**: 06 Aug 2026 **12 minutes read** This page explains how to download the Windows 11 25H2 dependency ISO file, upload it to the patch store, and deploy the feature update using Patch Manager Plus — covering all edition and upgrade-path combinations for both Windows 10 and Windows 11 source systems, including the Enablement Package path for devices already running Windows 11 24H2. ## Video Guide Watch the video below to learn how to upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 using Patch Manager Plus. ## Overview Released in October 2025, Windows 11 25H2 is the major feature update for Windows 11, delivered largely as an enablement package. This allows compatible systems to upgrade quickly with a smaller download and minimal disruption. For a full list of what's new, refer to the [official Microsoft Windows 11 release information page](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/release-health/windows11-release-information). To install the Windows 11 25H2 feature update, the device must be running Windows 10 version 2004 or a later version. For a complete list of system requirements, refer to the [Windows 11 specifications page](https://www.microsoft.com/en-ph/windows/windows-11-specifications). > **Note** > Deployment of the Windows 11 25H2 feature pack is supported only in Patch Manager Plus build versions **10.0.147 and above**. The SSP (Self-Service Portal) method is not applicable for performing a feature pack upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 via Patch Management. ## Prerequisites Complete the following checks before beginning the deployment. 1. Run the [Compatibility Check](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-11-specifications?&r=1) to confirm all target systems meet the minimum requirements that affect upgradeability. 2. Enable the Feature Pack option in Patch Database Settings: - In Patch Manager Plus: navigate to **Patch Mgmt → Settings → Patch Database Settings**, click the **Windows** tab, and enable the **Feature Pack** option. - In Patch Manager Plus: navigate to **Admin → Settings → Patch Database Settings**, click the **Windows** tab, and enable the **Feature Pack** option. 3. Confirm that feature pack updates have not been declined under **Decline Patches**. ## Patch IDs by Edition and Upgrade Path Use the correct main patch ID and dependency patch ID based on the source OS version and the target edition. The dependency ISO must be uploaded before the main patch can be deployed. Devices already running Windows 11 version 24H2 only require the [Enablement Package](#enablement-package-windows-11-24h2--25h2) — no ISO upload is needed for that path. **Windows 11 25H2 patch IDs by source OS and edition** | Source OS | Edition | Main Patch ID | Dependency Patch ID | ISO Download Source | |---|---|---|---|---| | Windows 10 | Enterprise (x64) | **112732** — Feature Pack Update for Windows 11 (25H2) Enterprise (x64) (Windows 10 to Windows 11) (Deployment-Only) | **112734** — Dependency Patch for Windows 11 (25H2) Enterprise (x64) (Manual Upload Required) | [Volume Licensing Service Center](https://admin.microsoft.com/adminportal/home#/subscriptions/vlnew) | | Windows 10 | Professional / Other (x64) | **112731** — Feature Pack Update for Windows 11 (25H2) (x64) (Windows 10 to Windows 11) (Deployment-Only) | **112733** — Dependency Patch for Windows 11 (25H2) (x64) (Manual Upload Required) | [Microsoft software download page](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows11) | | Windows 11 (below 24H2) | Enterprise (x64) | **112730** — Feature Pack Update for Windows 11 (25H2) Enterprise (x64) (Windows 11 to Windows 11) | **112734** — Dependency Patch for Windows 11 (25H2) Enterprise (x64) (Manual Upload Required) | [Volume Licensing Service Center](https://admin.microsoft.com/adminportal/home#/subscriptions/vlnew) | | Windows 11 (below 24H2) | Professional / Other (x64) | **112729** — Feature Pack Update for Windows 11 (25H2) (x64) (Windows 11 to Windows 11) | **112733** — Dependency Patch for Windows 11 (25H2) (x64) (Manual Upload Required) | [Microsoft software download page](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows11) | | Windows 11 24H2 | All editions (x64) | **112754** — Enablement Package (x64). No ISO upload required — see [Enablement Package](#enablement-package-windows-11-24h2--25h2) section below. | | Not applicable | > **Note** > Enterprise edition ISO files must be downloaded from the [Volume Licensing Service Center](https://admin.microsoft.com/adminportal/home#/subscriptions/vlnew). Professional and other edition ISO files can be downloaded from the [Microsoft software download page](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows11). ## Upload the ISO File The dependency ISO file must be uploaded to the patch store before the main feature pack patch can be deployed. The steps below apply to all edition and upgrade-path combinations. Devices already running Windows 11 24H2 can skip this section and use the [Enablement Package](#enablement-package-windows-11-24h2--25h2) instead. > **Note** > **Applicable from build 2605 and above:** Starting from build 2605, manual upload of the ISO file is no longer mandatory for Feature Pack deployment. The following key points apply: > 1. Dependency patches will not appear in the **Uploaded Patches** view by default. > 2. The system will automatically handle ISO download and deployment during the Feature Pack deployment process. > 3. If the ISO download fails, the corresponding dependency patch will appear in the **Uploaded Patches** view, allowing manual intervention. > 4. If a previously uploaded ISO is available, deployment will continue using the manually uploaded file. > 5. If patches were previously uploaded and later deleted, the dependency patch will not appear in the **Uploaded Patches** view but will be automatically re-downloaded during the next deployment attempt. 1. Navigate to **Threats & Patches → Patches → Download Patches → Upload Patches** and apply the **All Patches** filter. 2. In the **Upload** pop-up window, browse and select the downloaded ISO file to upload. The screenshots below show the upload screen for each edition and upgrade path combination. ### Windows 10 → Windows 11 Enterprise (Dependency Patch ID 112734) ![Upload Patches view in Patch Manager Plus showing the dependency ISO upload dialog for Windows 11 25H2 Enterprise edition upgrading from Windows 10](https://www.manageengine.com/patch-management/images/windows-1125H2-feature-pack-deployment-1.png) Upload Patches view — dependency ISO upload for Windows 10 → Windows 11 25H2 Enterprise edition (Dependency Patch ID 112734). ### Windows 10 → Windows 11 Professional / Other Editions (Dependency Patch ID 112733) ![Upload Patches view in Patch Manager Plus showing the dependency ISO upload dialog for Windows 11 25H2 Professional edition upgrading from Windows 10](https://www.manageengine.com/patch-management/images/windows-1125H2-feature-pack-deployment-2.png) Upload Patches view — dependency ISO upload for Windows 10 → Windows 11 25H2 Professional / other editions (Dependency Patch ID 112733). ### Windows 11 → Windows 11 25H2 Enterprise (Dependency Patch ID 112734) ![Upload Patches view in Patch Manager Plus showing the dependency ISO upload dialog for Windows 11 25H2 Enterprise in-place upgrade](https://www.manageengine.com/patch-management/images/windows-1125H2-feature-pack-deployment-3.png) Upload Patches view — dependency ISO upload for Windows 11 → Windows 11 25H2 Enterprise edition (Dependency Patch ID 112734). ### Windows 11 → Windows 11 25H2 Professional / Other Editions (Dependency Patch ID 112733) ![Upload Patches view in Patch Manager Plus showing the dependency ISO upload dialog for Windows 11 25H2 Professional in-place upgrade](https://www.manageengine.com/patch-management/images/windows-1125H2-feature-pack-deployment-4.png) Upload Patches view — dependency ISO upload for Windows 11 → Windows 11 25H2 Professional / other editions (Dependency Patch ID 112733).
