# License Management - Applications Manager User Guide Applications Manager includes a feature that sends license expiry notifications to users via their configured email address. Users can schedule these alerts to be sent either a few days before the expiry date or on the day of expiry, ensuring they have ample time to take necessary action. ## Configuring License Expiry Notification User can access this feature by navigating to **Settings → License Management → License Expiry Notification**. Following are the list of options available to configure the License Expiry Notification in Applications Manager: - **Notify License Expiry via email:** Using this option, users can schedule License Expiry notification in terms of days. The available options range from **90 days to 1 day before expiry** and **On Expiry**. By default, the Notification scheduler will be enabled for **On Expiry, 1 Day, 5 Days and 30 Days**. - **Notify when Monitor Limit is Exceeded via email:** Using this option, users will be notified via email whenever monitor usage limit reaches the specified percentage threshold. The available options range from **50% to 100%**. By default, this option is enabled and the notification scheduler will be configured for **90%** and **100%** of license consumption. This enables you to receive alerts before monitor limit is exceeded, which might prevent the monitor from collecting data. **Note:** This option is only available from Applications Manager v175400. - **Notify when RUM Page Views get consumed via email:** Using this option, users will be notified via email whenever Real User Monitor Page Views consumption reaches the specified percentage threshold. The available options range from **50% to 100%**. By default, this option is enabled and the notification scheduler will be configured for **90%** and **100%** of page views consumption. This enables you to receive alerts before RUM Page views get exhausted, which might prevent the monitor from collecting data. - **Notify when AppLogs Usage get consumed via email and in-app notification:** Using this option, users will be notified whenever AppLogs Usage reaches the specified percentage threshold. The available options range from **50% to 100%**. By default, this option is enabled and the notification scheduler will be configured for **90%** and **100%** of AppLogs Usage. This enables you to receive alerts before AppLogs Usage limit get exhausted, which might prevent the AppLogs module from collecting data. **Note:** This option is only available from Applications Manager v180700. - **Notify me on:** Here the user can choose the mail ID to which the notification email must be sent. It can be Primary or Secondary contact Email ID provided in the license or an SMTP configured Email ID or Super Administrator Email ID or pre configured Email Actions. - **Notify product support on License Expiry via Email:** This option will notify the Applications Manager product support team about the license expiry. The product support mail ID will be added in cc while sending the mail to the user. By default, this option will be **enabled - only if Applications Manager is installed in India, China, Japan, Canada or United States.** If necessary, the user can disable this option. - **Notify License Expiry in product header:** This option will help the user to receive license expiry notifications as alerts on product header of the web client. **By default, this option is enabled**. **Note:** - The license expiry notification feature is available exclusively for Super Administrator user roles in Standalone Professional and Enterprise Admin setups. - The license expiry notification will be sent based on the: - **Expiry date of the License, for Subscription License users.** - **Expiry date of the AMS subscription as specified in the License, for Perpetual License users.** - By default, the **Notify product support on License Expiry via Email** option will be enabled only for non-zohocorp mail IDs. - The **SMTP Mail Server has to be configured** to receive the License expiry notification and Monitor Limit notification email.
