# Schedule Reports Applications Manager generates many reports that help you to analyze the performance over a period of time. Using this option, you can schedule the time at which the reports need to be generated. ## Creating a new schedule of reports 1. Click on the **Settings** tab. 2. Under *Reporting*, click on **Schedule Reports**. If reports have been already scheduled, the schedule details would be listed. Else, it would prompt you to create new schedule. 3. Give a **name** for the schedule. 4. Enter the **description** of the schedule. 5. By default, the schedule for the report is enabled. 6. Choose the **Report Type** like Availability report, Downtime history report. 7. Select the Report period. 8. Choose whether you want report for monitor types, monitor groups or for individual monitors. Accordingly, the resources will be listed down. Select the resource for which the report is expected. 9. Set the **time** for the reports to be delivered. For eg., If you want the health report of database servers to be delivered for every 2 hours, choose the '**Periodic**' option and set the number of hours as '*2*' from the dropdown. By doing this, the report will be delivered for every 2 hours **starting from 00.00 hours** (i.e.) report will be delivered at 02.00, 04.00, 06.00 hours and so on. Similarly, you can schedule it for 15/30/45 minutes, 1 hour and 3/4/6/8/12 hours. If you want the report to be delivered everyday at 10.00 a.m, choose **'Daily'** option and set the *time* as '10.00'. You can also configure multiple time schedules (upto 10) if required. If you want the report to be delivered every monday at 10.00 a.m, choose **'Weekly'** option, set *time* as '10.00' and choose 'Monday' option. If you want the report to be delivered every month on 15th day at 10.00 a.m, choose **'Monthly'** option, set *time* as '10.00', choose '15' from the *day* list and select *all* for the report to be delivered every month. (You can select individual months also) **Note:** The **Hourly** option has been renamed as **Periodic** from Applications Manager version **v178100**. 10. Select the medium through which you want to **Send Report as** by choosing any one of the following options: - **Send as Attachment:** Sends the report as an attachment via email or MS Teams notification. - **Publish Report as Link:** Sends the report as a published URL link via email or MS Teams notification. - **Save to folder:** Saves the report in a configured local or network folder at the scheduled time. By default, the *\working\ReportFiles* directory is used for the **Custom folder path**. You can configure a different custom path if required. Network folder path configuration is supported in both Windows and Linux, with the following path formats: - **Windows:** \\host\path\to\folder - **Linux:** user@host:/path/to/folder 11. Select the **Report Format** whether you want to receive the report as **PDF** or **CSV** file format. 12. **Select the email / MS Teams action** to trigger when the report is scheduled. You can also configure new email action by clicking on **New Email Action** and specifying the **Email ID** to be configured. Email / MS Teams action are triggered for the **Send as Attachment** and **Publish Report as Link** options. 13. Click **Save** to create the report schedule. The password is generated dynamically for each and every user, hence no one can access the webclient using this username and password as it is secured.
