# Google Authentication Failure ## Problem You have enabled two-factor authentication using Google Authentication but it fails. ## Cause You may face this problem if, 1. Time correction for codes is out of sync. 2. Incorrect date and time in the mobile device. ## Resolution **Method 1 - Syncing time correction for codes:** 1. Open Google Authenticator app on your mobile. 2. At the top-right corner, click on the action (three-dot) icon. 3. Check whether the Two Factor Authentication is working or not. **Method 2 - Enabling automatic date, time and time zone:** 1. Open Settings on your mobile. 2. Choose **System** and select **Date & Time.** 3. Ensure that the toggles of **Automatic date & time** and **Automatic time zone** are enabled. 4. Restart your device. **Note:** For iOS users, go to **Settings-> General-> Date & Time** and set it to **Automatic.** Even if the **Date & Time** is set to **Automatic**, double toggle it.
