How to configure a wallpaper in Mac machines using Endpoint Central?

To configure a Mac wallpaper in Endpoint Central, follow the steps below:

  • In the Endpoint Central web console, navigate to Configuration → Mac → Wallpaper for users.
  • Provide the Name and Description for the configuration.
  • In the Set Wallpaper Criteria, browse the image that needs to be added as the home screen.
  • Select the option to Set as Lock Screen as per your choice.
    Note: The Home Screen wallpaper will be set as the Lock Screen by default from macOS Sonoma and above
  • Adjust the position of the wallpaper.
  • Define your target endpoints.
  • Enable the retry configuration on failed targets if required.
  • You can also select the option to enable notifications if you want to receive notifications via mail.
  • Click Deploy to deploy the configuration or Save As to save the configuration as a draft.
