# Device Explorer

Device Explorer utility of OpUtils software provides you the complete details of a cisco device such as device snapshot, chassis details, flash memory details, interfaces, IOS details, IP routes, and access lists.

To get the details of a Cisco device:

1. Click the Tools tab.
2. Choose Device Explorer available under the Cisco Tools.
3. Enter the **Device Name** or its **IP Address**.  
   **Note**: Ensure the device specified is a CISCO device.
4. Enter the SNMP **Community** String of the device.
5. To configure SNMP properties click **Settings** located at the top right corner or click **Admin -> Settings**. For details read the [Configuring SNMP](https://www.manageengine.com/products/oputils/help/setting_up_environment/configuring_snmp.html) section.
6. Click the **Show** button.
7. The device snapshot is displayed. Select the required parameter from the tree to view the details.
