DNS Root Hint

The Root Hint feature in DDI Central is a template file containing the domain and IP address information of root name servers. It enables network administrators to view and access root server domain and IP details without going through the full DNS resolution process.

The Root Hint template can be accessed by navigating to DNS > Config > Root Hint. The values within the template can be edited by network administrators for configuration purposes.

The root hint template can be deleted using the Delete option. By clicking the Configure option, the root hint template is applied to all DNS servers within the organization.
