ManageEngine Previews Security, Siebel News for Interop Las Vegas 2014

PLEASANTON, Calif. - March 19, 2014 - ManageEngine, the real-time IT management company, today previewed the product announcements it will be making at Interop Las Vegas 2014. This year, the company's product news revolves around security on the network and at the end users' desktops. At the show, ManageEngine will be announcing new versions of OpManager, the network and data center infrastructure management software; Desktop Central, the desktop and mobile device management (MDM) software; and Applications Manager, the application performance monitoring solution.

ManageEngine will be exhibiting its new products along with the rest of its portfolio in booth 2327 at Interop Las Vegas being held March 31-April 4, 2014, at Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.

"The IT community has seen an alarming number of security breaches over the past 12 months," said Raj Sabhlok, president of ManageEngine. "That's prompting everybody in the IT community to reevaluate their security measures and improve them wherever possible. ManageEngine Fortifies Security, Monitors Siebel

At Interop Las Vegas, ManageEngine is fortifying its security offerings on the network and in the data center as well as on the desktop. The company is also expanding its ERP portfolio with the addition of Siebel CRM monitoring.

  • OpManager will gain an SIEM plug-in module based on ManageEngine's EventLog Analyzer software, bringing enhanced IT compliance and security to OpManager.
  • Desktop Central will add enhanced role-based access control to restrict users to manage defined sets of computers based on business unit, location, building and more.
  • Applications Manager will add support for Siebel CRM, giving operational intelligence to ensure high availability and performance for Siebel business applications.
