# Patch Installation Failure - "Error Code- 2068119551"

## Problem

You are trying to install SQL patches to your machine. However, the installation fails with an error message: "Unknown Error Code:- 2068119551".

## Cause

The possible reason could be:

- Microsoft SQL Server patches failed with error code due to anti-virus blocking. This is either due to the activity of anti-virus or due to security applications. For example, an anti-virus named sentinel is blocking the patch installation.

## Resolution

1. We recommend you to block the anti-virus before installing the patches. If it's a security application which is blocking, then you should temporarily disable it until your installation is done.
