## Microsoft Azure Event System Grid Topic - An Overview

Azure Event Grid System Topic monitoring helps track event publishing, delivery performance, server delivery success rate, latency, event processing metrics including matched, unmatched, dropped, and dead lettered events, along with advanced filter evaluations, to optimize event routing for your Azure resources.

Applications Manager's [Azure Event Grid System Topic](https://www.manageengine.com/products/applications_manager/azure-integration-services-monitoring.html#h6) monitoring provides visibility into event publishing, delivery performance, and processing metrics, helping ensure your event-driven workflows operate reliably.

## Monitored Parameters

Navigate to the **Category View** by clicking the **Monitors** tab. Hover over **Child Monitors** under **Microsoft Azure** in the Cloud Apps table, and then select the **Event Grid System Topics** monitor from the displayed tooltip. This action displays the bulk configuration view for Azure Event Grid System Topic in three tabs:

- **Availability** tab gives the availability history for the past 24 hours or 30 days.
- **Performance** tab gives the health status and events for the past 24 hours or 30 days.
- **List view** enables you to perform [bulk admin configurations](https://www.manageengine.com/products/applications_manager/help/bulk-config.html).

The Microsoft Azure monitor provides a brief detail of the Azure Event Grid System Topic under the given subscription. The following metrics are monitored in the corresponding tabs:

### Performance Overview

| **EVENT PUBLISHING** |  |
| Successful Publish Events | The total number of events that were successfully published to the Azure Event Grid System Topic between the poll intervals. |
| Failed Publish Events | The total number of events that failed to be published to the Azure Event Grid System Topic between the poll intervals. |
| **EVENT DELIVERY** |  |
| Successful Delivery Events | The total number of events that were successfully delivered to the event subscriptions for the Azure Event Grid System Topic between the poll intervals. |
| Failed Delivery Events | The total number of events that could not be delivered to event subscriptions for the Azure Event Grid System Topic between the poll intervals. |
| **SERVER DELIVERY SUCCESS RATE** |  |
| Server Delivery Success Rate | The total server delivery success rate for the Azure Event Grid System Topic between the poll intervals. |
| **SUCCESSFUL PUBLISH LATENCY** |  |
| Successful Publish Latency | The total latency for successfully published events to the Azure Event Grid System Topic between the poll intervals (in ms). |

| Dead Lettered Events | The total number of dead lettered events that matched event subscriptions for the Azure Event Grid System Topic between the poll intervals. |

### Configuration

| Resource Group Name | The resource group that contains the Azure Event Grid System Topic. |

| Metric Resource ID | The resource ID used to identify metrics for the Azure Event Grid System Topic. |
