Setting Up Active Directory  Reports

Endpoint Central lets you retrieve information about Active Directory infrastructure components and provides 100+ out-of-the-box reports. You can schedule the report update interval to get up-to-date details.

To configure the AD report update interval:

  1. Select Admin ->  Reports Settings -> AD Reports Settings to open the report settings  page.

  2. Select the Enable  AD Report Scheduler option.

  3. Select the Domains for which the reports needs to  be generated. If no domains are selected, the scheduler will be disabled.

  4. Select the Scan Mode to specify whether to update  all the objects or only the modified objects. If you select all the  objects mode, this will fetch all the required data from Active Directory  and this may take time. If you select modified object, this will fetch  only the data after the last sync.

  5. Specify the update interval as below:

    1. Daily  - to update everyday. You need to specify the starting time and  starting day.

    2. Weekly  - to update on specific day(s) in a week. You need to specify  the starting time and the day(s) on which the update should happen.

    3. Monthly  - to update on a specific day every month(s). You need to specify  starting time, select a day and select a month/months.

  6. Click Save Changes

To send the reports by Email

You can send the Active Directory reports by email whenever it gets updated. You have an option to select the reports to be e-mailed and the email addresses.

  1. Select Admin ->  Reports Settings -> AD Reports Settings to open the report settings  page.

  2. Select the Enable  AD Report Scheduler option.

  3. Select the Send Reports  by Email option

  4. Specify the From, To Address and Email Subject.

  5. Click the Select  Reports button to select the reports to be sent by email.

  6. Click Save Changes.

After the completion of every scheduled update, the selected reports  will be mailed to specified email addresses.
