# How to configure the SMS Server Settings in Endpoint Central? **Last Updated On**: 26 Jun 2026 **3 minutes read** ## Description This document will help you configure the **SMS Server Settings** in **Endpoint Central**. ## Steps Follow the steps given below to configure the **SMS Server Settings**: > **Note** > The SMS Server Settings is available in Endpoint Central from build version 10.0. 1. Log in to the Endpoint Central web console. Go to the **Admin** tab → **SMS Server Settings**. 2. Next to **URL** in the web console, select the protocol of the SMS provider from the drop-down menu: **POST** or **GET**. Enter the URL of the SMS provider. 3. Enter the **Query Parameter**'s **Key** and **Value**. If you have more than one pair of **Key** and **Value**, click on the **plus** sign and enter them. 4. Enter the **Request Header**'s **Key** and **Value** opposite the **Request Header(s)** field. If you have more than one pair of **Key** and **Value**, enter them by clicking on the **plus** sign. 5. In this step, choose whether or not authentication is required to access the **SMS Server Settings**. If authentication is not required, skip to step number 7. 6. Provide the **Username** and the **Password** required to access the SMS Server. 7. Now, enter the **Request Payload**. 8. Choose the **Request Method**. There are two options: **application/json** and **application/x-www-form-urlencoded**. Choose the option that is applicable to you. 9. Enter a message that will be displayed upon the successful delivery of the message beside the **Success Response** field. 10. Enter a phone number next to **Test Phone Number** to check the successful delivery of an example message. 11. Check the box that says **Send SMS using unicode for multi-language texts** to send the message in unicode format if the message consists of different languages. 12. Click **Save**. You have successfully configured the **SMS Server Settings** in **Endpoint Central**. > **Note** > The maximum character limit for each message is **70**.
