Free edition: A permanently free version with a basic set of tools from the OpUtils tool matrix.
Professional edition: This edition includes full IPAM, switch port mapping, rogue detection, diagnostics, and more.
Management edition: The full feature set, including full DDI, switch port mapping, rogue detection, diagnostics, and more.

The free trial gives you temporary access to all OpUtils features so you can evaluate its full DDI, switch port mapping, rogue detection, port scanning, and all the other capabilities in your environment. It's time-bound (30 days) and designed for complete product evaluation.

The free edition, on the other hand, is a permanently free version with limited scale and features (for 1 class C subnet & switch). It's ideal for small networks or basic IP and device management needs, but excludes advanced automation, reporting, and enterprise capabilities.

Yes, OpUtils supports both subscription and perpetual licensing models.

Subscription license is valid for a defined period (typically one year) and must be renewed to continue usage and support.
Perpetual license allows indefinite use of the version you purchased, with optional annual maintenance for support and updates.

You can choose to convert from a subscription license to a perpetual license, but this generally requires purchasing a new perpetual license rather than an automatic conversion. For more details, contact our support.

OpUtils licensing is based on a combination of usage metrics and license type:
