CVE-2026-12263 describes a privilege escalation vulnerability in ADSelfService Plus that occurs when SAML authentication is enabled under Logon Settings > Single Sign-on. Due to improper validation of the SAML response, a low-privileged user could gain the privileges of another user, including an administrator.
In deployments configured for SAML SSO, this vulnerability could allow a low-privileged, authenticated SSO user to impersonate another user, including an administrator, and establish a session as that user. Successful exploitation could compromise the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the affected instance.
This issue has been resolved in ADSelfService Plus build 7001 by strengthening the SAML signature validation.
Update your ADSelfService Plus instance to build 7001 or later using the service pack.
