Provisioning and Import/Sync

Identity360 supports SCIM-based automated user provisioning, which is an open standard that facilitates automated provisioning and deprovisioning of user accounts in cloud applications. It can be configured to automatically provision users to a cloud application when they're assigned to that application.

Identity360 supports two provisioning features:

• Create user: A new account will be automatically created in the cloud application when a user is assigned to that application in Identity360. If there is an existing disabled account for that user, the account will be enabled.
• Delete user: The user account will be automatically deleted or disabled in the cloud application when the user is deleted or unassigned from the application in Identity360.

Identity360 also offers import and sync capabilities, allowing the seamless import of users, profiles, and roles from a directory or application into the Identity360 portal.

Steps to configure provisioning or Import/Sync for an application:

1. Log in to Identity360 as an Admin or Super Admin.
2. Navigate to Applications → Application Integration and click Create New Application.
3. Select the desired application for which you want to configure provisioning or Import/Sync.
4. In the General Settings tab, enter the Application Name and Description, if necessary.
5. Select Provisioning or Import/Sync under the Choose Capabilities section for that particular application and click Continue.

Note: If you select provisioning, the Import/Sync option will automatically be enabled.

6. In Integration Settings tab, select a Connection under the Application Connection section. If there are no existing pre-configured connections, click Create Connection to set up a new connection. Learn more.
7. Enter the API Key, Bearer Token, Basic Authentication, or any other application-specific information as required.
8. Click Save to complete configuring provisioning or Import/Sync for the application.

Application Connection

An application connection is a link established between Identity360 and a specific application to automate the process of creating, updating, or disabling user accounts within the application. This ensures that user accounts, roles, and profiles are consistently managed and synchronized between Identity360 and the connected application.

At present, Identity360 offers Application Connection for Salesforce and Google Workspace.

Steps to configure Application Connection:

• Log in to Identity360 as an Admin or Super Admin.
• Navigate to Applications → Application Integration and click Create New Application.
• Select the desired application for which you want to set up the connection in the Choose Application field.
• Enter the Connection Name and any other application-specific information as required.
• Click Authorize, and you will be redirected to the application login page, where you will be prompted to log in with your admin credentials.
• Once you have logged in successfully, you will be redirected to Identity360 again, and the new application connection will be saved automatically.
