Modify directory settings

You can change the settings of the directory services configured with Identity360. Using these settings, you can perform the following actions:

View directory details

To view the details of all directories that you have configured with Identity360, navigate to the Universal Directory tab > Directory Integration > Manage Directory. Select the directory whose information you wish to view.

You can view the directory's details like name, the number of objects synced, the next cycle of the synchronization, and the status of the last synchronization.

You can also view the details of previous synchronizations by clicking the icon-export-history icon. This will open the Sync History pop-up page, where you can view the sync time and the status of the synchronization. Click Details to view the total number of users and groups that were created, modified, or deleted in the particular sync cycle, and view the sync status of each object.

Edit directory details

If the user account or application you used to configure the directory has been deleted or the password has been changed, you will need to edit the details here to ensure that Identity360 uses the updated credentials to access the directory service.

To edit the details of all directories that you have configured with Identity360:

  1. Navigate to the Universal Directory tab > Directory Integration > Manage Directory.
  2. Select the directory you want to modify.
  3. Click the icon-edit icon under the Action column corresponding to the tenant or domain you want to edit.
  4. Edit the authentication details of the directory and follow the authorization process for the directory again.

Configure sync settings

To view information related to sync settings from a specific directory's tenant or domain:

  1. Navigate to the Universal Directory tab > Directory Integration > Manage Directory.
  2. Select the directory for which you wish to modify the sync schedule.
  3. To modify the sync scheduler, click the icon-edit icon under the Action column to view the current scheduler's sync time and modify it by clicking Modify Scheduler. In the Advanced Settings page, modify the schedule settings as per your requirement.
  4. Note: The icon-edit icon is green when the scheduler is enabled and gray when disabled.

  5. To view all the users synced from your configured applications to Identity360, click the number under the Synced Objects column. Click the icon-edit icon and Review Now to review the objects for which sync has failed.
  6. Click the icon-refresh icon under the Next Sync Time column to run the synchronization immediately.

Remove a directory

If a tenant or domain of a directory is no longer in use, you can delete the unwanted tenant or domain. Removing a tenant or domain will remove all the licensed users and their licenses will be reclaimed.

To remove a domain or tenant of a directory:

  1. Navigate to the Universal Directory tab > Directory Integration > Manage Directory.
  2. Select the directory you want to delete.
  3. Click the icon-delete icon. This will open the Confirm Box pop-up window.
  4. You can choose to delete all synchronized objects along with the domain or tenant, or change the objects' primary source to Identity360 and delete the domain or tenant.
  5. Click Apply.
