Accessibility Settings
iPhone offers a range of accessibility features that make the user experience of a device much easier. With MDM you can define the accessibility features like zoom, voice over, text size etc during the initial setup of the device. You can allow or restrict these accessibility settings on the device for easy access. This is applicable only for Supervised Devices running iOS 16.0 or later versions.
Accessibility settings supported by MDM are listed below:
- Zoom
- Voice Over
- Touch Accommodations
- Reduce Motion
- Reduce Transparency
- Increase Contrast
- Bold Text
- Text Size
With all these accessibility features, admin can make the device more accessible for users with disabilities. Hence, users are allowed to modify these settings on the devices based on their requirements. To view whether these accessibility settings have been enable or disabled, navigate to Inventory > Devices > Restrictions.
