# Google account missing Last updated: July 24, 2026 ## Problem End user is trying to enroll a mobile device and he gets the error message "Google account missing". ## Cause Users might see this error message when they have not provided their Google account on the mobile device. The Android device being enrolled needs to have the user's Google account information added to it. If the user has not provided the Google account information, enrollment will fail. ## Resolution In such cases, users are notified to log in to their Google account to continue the enrollment process. If the end user is unaware of the process, instruct them to navigate to the following location and provide their account information: **Settings > Account & Sync > Add Account**, then retry the enrollment process. **Applies to:** Profile Management, Device Enrollment **Keywords:** Google Account missing, Enrollment failure, Android Agent installation
