# CSR mismatch Last updated: July 24, 2026 ## Problem You are trying to upload the APNs (**MDM_ZOHO_Corporation_Certificate.pem**) file, downloaded from the Apple website, to the Mobile Device Manager Plus server, and you get an error message "Provide the latest Vendor-signed CSR certificate!" ## Cause While creating an APNs certificate, you will have to download the Vendor Signed CSR from the Mobile Device Manager Plus server and upload it to the Apple website to download **MDM_ZOHO_Corporation_Certificate.pem**. After downloading the **MDM_ZOHO_Corporation_Certificate.pem** file, it needs to be uploaded to the Mobile Device Manager Plus server. If the Vendor Signed CSR does not match the downloaded APNs certificate, you might get this error. ## Resolution You need to verify if the most recently downloaded "Vendor Signed CSR" is uploaded to the Apple Push Notification portal to generate APNs. In case you have downloaded the "Vendor Signed CSR" more than once, follow the steps mentioned below: 1. Upload the last downloaded "Vendor Signed CSR" again in the Apple Push Notification Portal. 2. Re-generate the APNs certificate. 3. Upload the re-generated APNs certificate on Mobile Device Manager Plus. **Note:** If you have more than one Vendor Signed CSR, it is recommended to delete them all and restart the process, so that you can download a fresh Vendor Signed CSR and upload it in the Apple Portal to generate the appropriate APNs certificate. **Applies to:** APNs, Renewal, APNs Expiry, Apple ID **Keywords:** APNs, Apple ID, Renew Certificate, Mobile Device Management.
