# Command format error

## Problem

You are trying to associate a profile to Groups/Devices, and you get an error message "Command format error".

## Cause

You get this error message, if the profile created by the administrator is not compatible or not applicable as per the iOS policies.

Kindly contact our support team with the Mobile Device Manager Plus server logs, for further assistance.
