It is named after the city of wine region located in California's Sonoma County. You can upgrade your machines to the latest version of macOS - Sonoma seamlessly via patch deployment. ## System requirements **Operating system**: macOS 10.13 and later ## Compatible systems Here's the list of systems that can support macOS Sonoma: - MacBook Pro (2018 or later) - MacBook Air (2018 or later) - Mac mini (2018 or later) - iMac (2019 or later) - iMac Pro (2017) - Mac Studio (2022 or later) - Mac Pro (2019 or later) ## Creating a backup Before installing an upgrade, it is always recommended to create a backup of your machines.
